Jackson Lewis P.C., one of the country’s pre-eminent workplace law firms, is pleased to announce that all seven attorneys formerly with Denlinger, Rosenthal & Greenberg will join the firm’s Cincinnati office in a move that combines Cincinnati’s two powerhouse labor and employment practices. Daniel Rosenthal, Gary Greenberg, Mark Lutz, James Mills, Emily Gelhaus, Robert Shank and Jill Stanforth Tauber will join Jackson Lewis effective January 1, 2017.

“This new group is well-known throughout the region for providing clients with strategic counsel across the full spectrum of labor relations and employment law matters, and their skills naturally complement those of our attorneys,” said Scott Carroll, Cincinnati Office Managing Principal. “By adding this distinguished team of established and highly renowned workplace law practitioners to our existing 15-attorney roster, in addition to our locations in Cleveland and Dayton, we are solidifying our presence in the city and positioning Jackson Lewis as the leading employment practice in Ohio.”

“My partners, associates and I are pleased with the opportunity to join what is now the premier workplace law firm in our region,” added Mr. Rosenthal. “This merger allows us to expand our practice geographically and increases our ability to serve our clients’ needs. We have turned down merger offers in the past, but after meeting the Jackson Lewis team, it became clear that our ability to represent and serve our clients would be served best by combining resources.”

The new attorneys contribute substantial experience representing local, regional and national clients in matters involving the National Labor Relations Board, State Employment Relations Board, federal and state equal employment opportunity agencies, as well as employment litigation and employment practice counseling. All lawyers have substantial experience representing employers in union organizing campaigns, labor negotiations, administrative agency matters, arbitrations, and litigation, including discrimination, wrongful discharge, wage and hour, benefits, family and medical leave, WARN, COBRA, workplace tort, breach of contract, and non-compete cases.
