Corporate Law and Commercial Litigation are unquestionably the largest represented specialties by Best Lawyers® listees in the United States. These two specialties alone make up roughly 20% of all listings in The Best Lawyers in America® and 30% of all listings in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America. With such a large nationwide group of listed lawyers, Best Lawyers soon realized the need for more representation of these practices. With that, we are proud to bring you the first edition of the Best Lawyers: The Corporate Law and Commercial Litigation Issue.

Along with these two specialties, more than 70 other specialties are included in this digital publication, officially making it our largest and most comprehensive digital publication to date. The listings are accompanied by thought leadership articles, written by some of our most knowledgeable legal minds.

Seasoned legal writer Justin Smulison opens the publication with an article that offers advice to the growing number of corporate executives working to sustain the financial and legal health of their companies amidst challenges of cybersecurity and trade secrets, inflation, employee attraction, ESG and the ongoing Russian conflict.

To better explain each of these critical components and how they will affect corporations moving forward, we talked with several C-Suite executives and General Counsel members across the country, including:

Other articles in our publication include one from Morris, Manning & Martin lawyers Meredith W. Caiafa and Sarah Greene in which they explore how lawmakers and businesses can keep up in the constantly changing litigation wrought by the pandemic. Polsinelli shareholder Emily C. Peyser then goes on to explain how imperative it is to have diversity in science, technology, engineering and math, and how these unique voices will carry us toward a brighter future. Lastly, Ariel Beverly of McDermott Will & Emery explains how wage-hour compliance issues continue to plague corporations and offers advice for navigating a post-pandemic world.

The first ever Best Lawyers: The Corporate Law and Commercial Litigation Issue is the comprehensive guide to innovation, navigation and rejuvenation for companies as we rebuild a world on the other side of the pandemic and continue forging ahead.
